The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2010 at RAF Fairford took place over the weekend of 17/18th July with around 155,000 people attending over the two days.

Battle of Britain 70th anniversary commemorations included Spitfires, Hurricanes and a trio of Messerschmitts flying in formation.

The USAF F-22A Raptor flew in the UK for the first time along with the new Airbus A400M Heavy lift transport aircraft.

In total, 246 aircraft took part in the Air Tattoo, from 30 air arms representing 17 nations.
