I had the pleasure of photographing a Chinese Wedding over the weekend. We started by covering the registry office on the Saturday, followed by an on location photo shoot in Greenwich Park, with the evening reception and last dance in the evening.
The bride and groom made us feel at home right from the start, myself shooting the bride getting ready and the 2nd shooter covering the groom.
Even the weather which was forecast to rain all weekend came good and gave us some nice sunny spells.

Last night I was at the Royal Albert Hall in London to photograph Beverley Knight in concert. 2 songs only.

Today an Aviation magazine dropped through the door today from a European publisher who I deal with. I opened the magazine and found they had used 3 of my photos. One of an Olympic Air A320 used twice and the other of an Aegean A321, both aircraft landing at London Heathrow.
Carrying on the Milk Splash Theme.
I picked up a CD case and under it a black cloth. 2 flashes were used either side of CD case. I used coloured milk for the drops

Tonight I decided to crack open the food colouring again and try some Milk Splashes. I set up the Canon 1DMKIII and 100mm F2.8 Macro lens with a 580ex connected via the hot shoe cord mounted on a light stand to my left. I used a black and a white background.

Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is most commonly called “Lunar New Year,” while “Chinese New Year” is the term preferred by English speakers referring to the Chinese celebration of the Lunar New Year. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: 正月; pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; this day is called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Year’s Eve is known as chú xī. It literally means “Year-pass Eve”.
So here are some photos of a Chinese Model I took for Chinese New Year 2010 – Year of the Tiger.

Canon News
For those lucky few to have their hands on this new model camera, Canon has issued a firmware update for the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV. Version 1.0.6 improves autofocus tracking performance with receding subjects and subjects that are approaching at a low speed.
Well the New Year is here and so is the cold weather. So instead of heading out in the cold I decided to stay in and have a crack at some indoor water photography.
So I cracked open the camera kit. Firstly 2 flashes, 580ex and SB-26, 24-70 F2.8 Lens,Canon 1DMKIII, Tripod and lightstand, and lastly water, food colouring and glasses/bottles.
I set the flashes up pointing at my white bathroom walls so it blew it out. The bottle / glass was above a plastic container to catch the water thats poured out, so you can re-use it.
Here are the results – Feel Free to email me if you need any advice.
Well last night I photographed the Chelsea V Portsmouth match in the Barclays Premier League at Stamford Bridge.
Got a little wet, it was forecast to snow but only constant thin drizzle came down, you know the stuff that soaks you through! Anyway got some great shots nevertheless.
Canon announced a firmware updgrade to the 1DMKIII today http://www.canon.co.jp/imaging/eos1dm3/firmware.html , seems to be to do with the WFT system.
This weekend I maybe at Fulham V Man Utd, should find out on Friday if thats going to happen or not. If not then I expect I’ll be out photographing snowy scenes as its start to come down now in London.
No pics in this post as my Graphics card broken on the main PC so I’m down to laptop only operations!
